Miryana Kalushkova

Miryana Kalushkova graduated from “Emiliyan Stanev” Secondary School, specialising in Accordion. She also attended dance and music schools and was a member of the Cantilena Choir.

She continued her education at the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2011 and obtained a Master’s degree in Classical Singing in 2012 under the guidance of Senior Assistant Professor Velizara Karayankova.

She has participated in classical singing masterclasses with Hristina Angelakova, Stefka Evstatieva, Vera Nikolova, Olivier Doria and Anna Tomowa-Sintow, as well as in a masterclass led by stage director Vera Nemirova.

She has received awards at several competitions, including Lilac Lovech in 2005 and 2007, the Martin Goleminovcompetition in Sofia in 2008, and The Crown of Tarnovgrad in 2010, along with numerous other distinctions. She has also taken part in concert projects with the Bulgarian rock band B.T.R. and the supergroup Fondatsiyata.

Since 2012, she has been a soloist with the ensemble of the Musical Dramatic Theatre “Konstantin Kisimov” in Veliko Tarnovo.
